- Product Information
Banishead Quarry is something of an oddity, albeit a beautiful one. Like countless others across the Lake District Banished is a disused slate quarry, however in the years since being worked it has acquired an waterfall and pool, rumoured to have been the work of two schoolboys rerouting a beck in the 1950s. This print is particularly beautiful using long exposure to capture the waterfall.
Nigel Wilkins range of truly breath taking range of landscape photography is the result of an ‘obsession’ with this subject and several decades of experience. Nigel primarily works within the nation’s favourite National Park, the Lake District.
